During the December Los Alamos County Council meeting, Council Members unanimously approved Sancre Productions for the four-year contract to produce the 2020-2023 Los Alamos Summer Concert Series. The contract award comes on the heels of the historic 2019 concert season, where newly forged partnerships with tech companies and local businesses brought high caliber, nationally touring artists to Los Alamos to include #LeftoverSalmon, #BigHeadToddandtheMonsters, and #Ozomatli. The #ChevelShepherd concert brought 8,000 concert attendees to the Ashley Pond Pavilion for what became the largest public concert in Los Alamos history. In addition to bringing nationally renowned music artists to Ashley Pond, Sancre Productions included youth cultural dance and music performances, opening band performances, a food truck court, a sponsor tent reception, and a New Mexico craft alcohol beverage garden.
